Rhiza started with Imran. After years of watching people get handed a ticket number, an invoice and no explanation, he wanted to build something that worked the other way around: tell people the truth, in plain language, before the work starts.

That idea is still the whole business. Grow alongside the people we work for, support them to the best of our capability, and communicate up front so that problems stay small.

Simon joined Imran to build Rhiza around that same principle, and leads client engagements day to day. More than 15 years in professional IT, supporting enterprise environments across the energy, financial and regulatory sectors, taught him that most technology problems are really communication problems.

He is the person you deal with on most work: scoping it, quoting it, and staying accountable for the result. When a job needs another specialist, he brings in people he has worked with and trusts.

Rhiza is deliberately small. Rather than carry staff, we bring in vetted contractors when a job calls for more hands or a different specialty — and we stay accountable for the work either way.

How we work

The rules we hold ourselves to, on every job, for every client.

  • A price before the work starts. Flat rates where we can, a written estimate where we cannot. No surprise invoices.
  • Plain English, always. We explain what is wrong and what we did, in words you can repeat to someone else.
  • No upselling. We will not push you toward things you do not need. If a job genuinely costs more than expected, we tell you why before we do it — never after.
  • You own what you pay for. Your domains, accounts and licences stay in your name, not ours. A website or app we build is yours once it is paid in full, running on hosting in your own name — we never hold your business hostage.
  • We own our mistakes. If something we touched breaks, we come back and fix it. Residential work carries a 7-day rework guarantee and builds carry a 30-day warranty.
  • We will tell you when it is not worth it. Sometimes the honest answer is that a machine is done, or that you do not need us at all.
