The tools we use, in the open

No mystery software, no surprise downloads. Every tool we put on your computer comes from its official source, has its licence checked, and only runs with your say-so. Here is the whole list.

Official sources only

Downloaded from the maker’s own site and checked against their published fingerprint — never a mirror or random link.

Licences checked

We confirm each tool is licensed for business use before it goes anywhere near a client’s machine.

Consent first

Nothing runs on your computer without your permission, and we tell you what each tool will do before we do it.

We don’t host your data

We can move files to storage you provide, but we never keep or host your data. Anything we carry is encrypted and wiped once the job is done.

Every tool, listed

Filter by what you run, or search by name.

How it’s organised

Our kit lives on a few clearly-separated USB drives, so your data never mixes with our tools.

Repair stick

Multi-boot rescue & repair

Boots a computer that won’t start, so we can diagnose, clean, back up and recover it. Read-only where possible.

Security drive

Encrypted · authorisation only

Used only for vulnerability assessments, and only after you’ve signed off on exactly what we’re allowed to test. Fully encrypted.

Your files

Transferred, never hosted

We don’t store or host your data, and we’re not responsible for keeping it — that stays with you. If files need to move, we transfer them to storage you provide. Anything that briefly touches our drives is encrypted and wiped the moment the job is done.

How to know it’s really us

The whole point of publishing this list: if someone claiming to be us does something that isn’t on it, that’s your signal to stop.

  • These are the only tools we’ll ask to use. If a “technician” wants you to install something else — especially a remote-access app you’ve never heard of — it isn’t us.
  • We will never call you out of the blue. Real support from us only ever follows a request you made. A surprise call about a virus is always a scam.
  • Remote support is booked, then confirmed. We use Microsoft Quick Assist only for a session you arranged, and we confirm who we are by phone first — never from a cold call.
  • You can check the downloads yourself. Every tool here links to its official page, where the maker publishes a “fingerprint” (a checksum) you can compare — proof the file hasn’t been tampered with.
